Penn Youth Orchestra Ensembles are open to students who will be entering 1st-12th grade.

We are currently welcoming new member auditions for the upcoming season. There are two audition options available:
1. In-Person Audition
Sunday, June 14 | 5:30–8:30 PM
Location: Marian Center at Villa Maria Academy, 370 Central Ave, Malvern, PA 19355
2. Video Submission (Rolling Auditions)
Submit your audition video via YouTube and share the link with us.
To audition, please complete the online audition registration form and indicate your preferred audition method.
If you missed the in-person audition, you still have the opportunity to audition for the Penn Youth Orchestra through a video submission. Rolling video auditions will be accepted until Sunday, August 31.

Video Audition Requirements
- Two Scales ( by Memory)
- Two contrasting movement/section of a solo work, concerto or sonata ( about 2-3 min each piece )
- Your full video should not exceed 10 minutes.
- The entirety of your audition should be recorded in one single, unedited video without an accompanist. You may not use a previously recorded performance.
- Be sure to record your audition in the order listed above: Scales and Solo. You may not edit, cut, splice, or otherwise alter your performance. Picture must remain stationary: no panning, zooming, multiple cameras, fading in/out.
- Please state your name, scales and pieces you will be presenting.
- Each ensemble has limited spots open so we encourage you to submit your video and registration form as soon as possible.
